Cost to clean up toxic PFAS pollution

PFAS chemicals are extremely persistent in the environment and have been linked to several health issues, including infertility and cancer, and are found in many consumer and industrial products. Efforts to mitigate the contamination include high-temperature incineration and developing more cost-effective remediation methods, with many advocating for stricter use restrictions and emissions reductions to prevent further environmental impact.
