Non-Compliant >40ppm Total Fluorine

Product samples subjected to testing here results identify Total Fluorine levels exceeding 40ppm are considered non-compliant and ineligible for Exemplary or Provisional Compliance. Such outcomes are documented in the PFAS-Free Database. Products can undergo further testing upon the submission of revised or enhanced versions.

All testing procedures are undertaken by certified independent laboratories, aligned with International and National Audit Standards – including NATA compliance. These laboratories utilize globally acknowledged scientific protocols to calibrated standards for determining and measuring the presence of PFAS – both embedded and/or surface coated. Further to the results and benchmarking scale applied to Product Samples supplied to PFAS-Free Australia, examination of testing protocols, methodologies, and supplementary scientific validation is open for review upon application, ensuring transparency and reliability within the PFAS Free Australia and Global Network testing framework. Importantly, the test results will be made accessible to the public, aligning with our commitments to education and transparency.
