Starbucks announces ban of toxic “forever chemicals” in its food packaging

In this news article from Safer Chemicals, Starbucks is committing to eliminating PFAS chemicals from all of its U.S packagings by the end of 2022. This month the international coffee giant announced it will start to phase out the “forever chemicals” from its packaging.

Starbucks is following suit with a number of other large fast-food chains in the commitment to eliminate PFAS for food packaging by 2025.
